After weeks of lock down, the nation’s hairstyles will once again be looked after by professionals as the Government announced today that hairdressers can officially reopen on July 4.
The news will be very welcome for many hairdressers and barbers up and down the country, who’se order books for Saturday July 4 are already likely to be full, based on the Prime Minister’s estimation back on May 10 that close-contact services such as hairdressers and beauty salons can’t open until July 4 ‘at the earliest, when it is considered safe to do so’.
The beauty industry as a whole employs over 600,000 people in over 50,000 businesses across the UK.
