Located in Nottingham, Urban Hideaway stands as a creative hub, offering multifunctional spaces tailored for hair and beauty professionals, educators, brands, and businesses. Spanning over four floors, Urban Hideaway promises to be one of the Fellowship’s most innovative venues for hosting educational and training sessions for hairdressers and barbers.

The open evening event was a vibrant affair, featuring a series of exciting demonstrations. Michelle Griffin, the Fellowship’s Vice-President and Project Extend Leader, along with Marlene Lamont, Project Extend Support, captivated the audience with their expertise. James Parr and Michael Damiano from the Wahl Artistic Team provided insightful demonstrations on hair texture, while the Design Essentials team showcased their expertise in textured hair and education. The evening was an excellent opportunity for attendees to network, exchange ideas, and witness the latest trends in the hairdressing industry.
Urban Hideaway’s designation as a Centre of Excellence follows a longstanding relationship with The Fellowship for British Hairdressing. The establishment underwent a thorough inspection to ensure it met the highest standards, providing an exceptional salon space for hairdressers, barbers, and students to create, collaborate, and develop their skills.
