CG Level 2 Diploma in Womens Hairdressing

This course enables you to develop the necessary interpersonal skills as well as the appropriate ‘on the job’ skills. You will be taught using up to date resources that are appropriate to your individual learning style.

Lessons are in the form of practical workshops, classes, and tutorials:

> Working in the hair industry

> Following health and safety in the salon

> Client consultation for hair services

> Shampoo and condition the hair and scalp

> Promote products and services to clients in a salon

> Cut women’s hair

> Colour and lighten hair

> Perm and neutralise hair

> The art of dressing hair

> Create an image based on a theme within the hair and beauty sector

> Plaiting and twisting hair

Additional courses are integrated into the programme to include:

-Balayage work shop

-Scalp massage work shop

-Bridal styling work shop

-Colour cocktail work shop

-Level 1 Award in Employability

-Level 1 Award in Preventing Contact dermatitis

-Matrix colour workshop
