Sassoon Creative Team Catwalk Hair

For the fourth consecutive season, Sassoon was delighted to support London based Canadian designer Edeline Lee and her AW13 presentation during London Fashion Week 2013. The presentation took place on Tuesday 19th February in the beautiful heraldic Elizabethan Hall, Middle Temple Hall.

Leading the Hair Team was Sassoon Senior Creative Director, Damien Peers who explained that “the inspiration for the presentation was taken from the costume and regalia of the 18th Century. Edeline wanted to reflect the idea of strong women, theatrical ceremonies, secret rituals and military aesthetic in her presentation”.

Damien says, “To complement the sophisticated silhouettes of the collection, clean, structured plaits were crafted and carefully woven around the head and pinned into place to create an architectural, military look. Hair was prepped using a combination of Sassoon Professional Heat Shape and Halo Hydrate to protect the hair. Wella SP Elegant Shape Mousse is used to support and hold the plaits once they have been created and pinned in place.”
