London Fashion Week AW16 was a spectacular showcase of the world’s leading fashion talent. With a packed schedule of shows, presentations, installations, showrooms, events and parties from some of the most influential names in the industry. Sassoon was delighted to support two designers backstage:
Edeline Lee | Friday, 19th February
Inspiration: The AW16 collection started with the idea of a return to simplicity. Edeline used purer shapes, cleaner lines and fabrics with integrity.
The Look: Sharp and sleek hair to highlight the clean lines of the collection modern.
How: “The hair was blow dried off of the face using Sassoon Professional Edit Body and Halo Hydrate. To give definition to the style, Eimi Perfect Me was then worked into the hair.” says Damien Peers, Sassoon Team Leader.

Sadie Clayton | Saturday, 20th February
Inspiration: The AW16 collection continues Sadie’s exploration of the ideas of headspace and the concept of time. This theme comes to life both through the collection and the bespoke set built for the presentation.
The Look: Matte in texture, to allow for the brightness of the copper to really stand out, hair was brought into a ponytail with no parting.
How: “Bringing the hair into a ponytail, copper was wrapped around from the top, leaving a section at the end. This section was then looped and Sassoon Professional Hydro Finish was applied to give further definition to the style.” Says Lee Nunn, Sassoon Team Leader
